West Coast - Mokihinui
Mokihinui is a small coastal settlement on New Zealand's West Coast in the South Island, about 40km north of Westport. The Mokihinui River is a top quality river that provides wonderful wilderness fishing for a large head of fish that can reach trophy size. This is one of the countries top wilderness rivers and has good fishing throughout its length though most popular are the two upper branches. more
The Kahurangi National Park is on the doorstep and it is the perfect spot for a relaxing break away or to use as a base for hunting, fishing, or whitebaiting. There is a variety of accommodation options available here with great dining options.
