Kawau Island Inshore Saltwater Fishing
Kawau Island is a stunning island in the Hauraki Gulf a mere 1.4 kilometres from the main land and about 40 kilometres from Auckland. One of the main attractions on the island is the Mansion House in the Kawau Island Historic Reserve. The island has a small resident population of around 70 people of whom most have direct access to the sea with private wharves from their front door steps.
