Help Information for Inserting Code
If you purchased have an Audio Visual for your listing, you will have been sent an email with three types of code options. These options include a standard text link, a button and an animated button.
Here is some basic help information on how to insert your code into both your Web site and your email.
If you are still unsure you will need to contact your own Web master and request they do it for you.
Web Site Help
To add your Audio Visual Clip code to your Web site, decide which link version you would like to use (in the email we sent you), then copy and paste the code we provided into your own Web page. Your Webmaster can do this for you if you are unsure.
Email Help
Inserting your AV code into your email signature depends on which email client you are using. Each email client has its own way of doing this.
Some important things to know:
- Your 'email client' is the email program you are using (e.g. Outlook Express, Thunderbird)
- To check which version you are running, go to Help, and About
- If you are running an older version, you should be able to download an update from the Web site of the provider
- Some email clients have limited capability of including HTML code in email signatures
Email Clients
To insert the code into your signature you need to first create an HTML file with the code in it. Click here for instructions on how to do this.
Once you have created this file, choose your email client from the list below and follow the link to their Web site. You will find instructions for inserting HTML into your email signature.
If you are still unsure, or do not run any of the above email clients, please contact your Web master for help.
