The New Zealand Tourism Awards recognise and reward excellence in the New Zealand tourism industry. They represent the highest possible accolade for New Zealand tourism operators and are an opportunity to celebrate excellence and encourage continuous improvement in an ever-changing business environment.
2010 Tourism Industry Awards Finalist
New Zealand Tourism Guide is proud to be a finalist in the 2010 Tourism Industry Awards.
The 2010 Tourism Industry Awards have the theme of 'Innovating for Success'. The aim of these awards is to celebrate success through innovation within a number of areas in the tourism industry.
New Zealand Tourism Guide has achieved finalist status as a result of our innovative approach to marketing.
The finalists for the awards this year come from a variety of sectors, and include organisations such as Air Force Museum of New Zealand and Wilsons Abel Tasman Limited. The winners were chosen by a panel of judges and announced on the 14th October at an awards evening.
Sucessful 2010 entrants include: Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World, and Rhythm and Vines Festival Ltd.
2006 New Zealand Tourism Awards
New Zealand Tourism Guide won two tourism awards in August, 2006:
- Tourism Communications and Information Services Award
- Telecom People's Choice Tourism Award
The Tourism Communications and Information Services category includes all forms of communication that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to informing visitors about the New Zealand travel product.
This category includes printed publications, travel guides and Internet sites. The focus is on quality of content, high levels of customer satisfaction with the product on offer and its distribution.
The People's Choice Tourism Award is designed to ensure the wider public can engage in the awards process and to highlight the award nominees. It is also an opportunity for Kiwis to select their favourite nominee.
It's an absolute honour to win this prestigious award three years running.
Congrats to the team at New Zealand Tourism Guide for your achievements. The People's Choice is a special award as this shows you not only have sound business systems and supporting operators but your clients are committed to you as well. Excellent.
