Waioeka Gorge Scenic Reserve
Waioeka Gorge Scenic Reserve is situated on South Highway 2, south of Opotiki, in the Eastland region of New Zealand.
Waioeka Scenic Reserve is New Zealand's largest scenic reserve, covering around an 1,800 hectare area.
The Waioeka River offers excellent trout fishing and swimming in a private, peaceful and natural environment.
The Manganuku Campsite is available for camping within the reserve. There are also several huts available along the walking tracks.

There are many walking tracks in the Waioeka Scenic Reserve. The walks are of varying difficulty and walking times.

Waioeka Gorge Scenic Reserve Conservation
Waioeka Scenic Reserve is managed by the Department of Conservation. Some things to remember include:
- Do not take dogs or other animals into the reserve
- Do not light fires
- Take your rubbish away with you
- Do not remove or disturb any artifacts or other historic remains
- Camp only in designated camping areas
